Drive needs to be formated before it can be used

hello

I have seagate 1 tb backup plus hard drive with 3 partitions

recently while trying to make my pendrive usb bootable i gave format option from that application and instead of pendrive by mistake HDD was selected

but fortunately the application which was running was in hdd so it show an error like can't format as it is being used.

but after that it doesnt show any partition
just a complete 931 gb RAW drive
which i am not able to open as it demands format

now how to get my data
will it be there ..or is it formated?
and why i am not able to open it?


is there any solution?
