Drive not detected

Hello, CD/ DVD drive not detected i have a hp dv2000

Head to the link below and find your PC model. From there try reinstalling the driver for it. If it doesn't work, I would suspect that the drive itself may have malfunctioned and you'll need a new one. If it is under a year old, HP should fix it for free under the factory warranty.
