Drive permissions WIN 7

Hello, i took a drive out of my old pc, stuck it in my new one and i cant access some of the pictures.....i went to security,,,and changed the permissions to the correct one and still cant open the pics,,, please help

When I run into something like this, I boot from a Linux Mint DVD; and in about 4 minutes I'm up and running with an operating system having a user interface similar to the Windows one. With that, I can copy the files I need. You can download Linux Mint from here: https://linuxmint.com/download.php .
