Hey! I just reformatted my pc this morning as I typically do every year or so, and I noticed my internal HDD seems to be stuck with two partitions by default now.... So I have like 2k unallocated space, and then 750 of unallocated space as well on the same drive, see for yourself:

Disk 0 is completely unformatted and now shows 2 partitions..... I first noticed this in the Windows media installation enviroment, when I was going through deleting all my partitions There were 2 Disk 0 partition 0's.... I know it sounds weird and I can't screen grab that...
It is a regular old internal sata Barracuda 3TB 7200RPM (ST3000DM008)
Its not the OS drive, currently unformatted.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks!

Solution
MBR partitioning?
That only allows a 2TB volume, as you see here.

You need to redo it as GPT. Which will allow the full 3TB to be a single volume.
Delete the partitions and format the drive, see if the partitions resurface. As for the rest of your drives, what do they show up in Disk Management?
This was resolved, but fyi I kept trying to delete! lol the bars are black because there are no partitions left but it was still showing "2 partitions" as you could see haha. problem was it had MBR formatting instead of GPT.... Thanks for the response!
