Driver advise

LS,

Probably often asked, but I am pretty new in this GF world, since I used to
have a G200.

I upgraded with a TI 4200 and I installed the latest nVidia drivers, and all
seems to work well.
Now I see in this group that there might be difference in performance
between the used drivers, and that the latest drivers are not always the
best option for older hardware.

What driver version do you advise for my system?

My system:

Abit KT7 with Athlon XP @ 2222 MHz
512 MB PC133
Terratec GF4 TI 4200 64 MB

Windows XP pro SP1, DX9

Thanks a lot,

Mike.

I had a creative 4200 TI 64mb , and WHQL 30.82 driver has worked perfectly
for me . You can dwnd it on www.nvidia.com .

you may get compatibility issues with older drivers and the newest games and
the 5x.xx are tweaked for the FX cards. I have used the 43.45s and 44.03s
equally well and have heard ppl swear by the 45.23s so something in this
range.

With the 4200 use the 45.23 driver for stability and a good image.
