I downloaded driver booster and it messed up a bunch of my drivers. After reading other posts on this forum I installed Malwarebytes and tried to remove driver booster but now everytime i turn on my pc the driver booster gives me an error and opens up my browser and downloads the setup. How can I fix this?

[Windows 10]

Solution
Whatever is launching may not be "named" Driver Booster per se.

Take another look at the current startup apps and applications - if you find something that you do not or cannot identify then that will need to be separately researched.

Another place to look is in Task Scheduler.

What browser(s) are you using?

What URL (if any) is shown with respect to the source of the setup download?

For example- here is where I found Driver Booster:

https://www.iobit.com/product-manuals/db-help/

The link includes how to uninstall driver booster. Try the Windows 10 uninstall.

If that uninstall fails then you may need to install Driver Booster again in order to be able to get a complete uninstall.

Just ensure that you are at the...

Look in Task Manager > Startup

Is Driver booster listed there? If so, select and disable.

Go to "WIN" + "I" > Apps

Look for Driver Booster there, left click, and try to uninstall.

Pay close attention to any pop up Windows or error messages.

Note and post what those windows and error messages say.

No driver booster in Task Manager > Startup
No driver booster in Apps
The error message it gives me: "An essential file is missing. Please reinstall Driver Booster and try again" and only 1 option to press "OK" and after I press the OK button it opens up my browser and starts downloading the setup.
Maybe I should just install it again and uninstall it?
