Driver files, delete?

Hi, I was wondering is it safe to delete the driver files installed in the program folders such as USB, GPU, and sound drivers? I know you can delete the downloaded folder package which you need to begin installing them, but can you delete the folders it creates afterwards?

if they are in the download foilder then yes. Thats probably where you unzipped them to.

No I'm talking about the folders created after they're done installing. I know you can delete the download files to install them with.

Hi, do not delete anything in c:\program files, windows or system32: your looking for trouble by doing so

you should be able to--but play it safe and just cut and paste them somewhere 1st and restart your pc a few times before deleting them to make sure

i slipstream all my extra drivers and after windows install and all my hardware is picked up i delete the driver folders with no problems
