I've purchased a generic soundcard from Aliexpress as the onboard soundcard on my motherboard has died and I was looking for a cheap repair so I purchased this :https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000551786938.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.3b8f22e1CSkjOt

Only issue now is finding a suitable driver for it as Windows 10 does not automatically download a driver and I've tried multiple auto driver update softwares but non of them were able to find one that would make it recognized by my computer.

I've contacted the seller and he has sent me a driver installation video in Chinese that I obviously couldn't follow and when I asked for an English version, I never got an answer back.

I will have to throw it away or salvage it for parts (audio jacks) in case I do not find a driver for it so any help would be much appreciated!

Have you used the device manager to get the PCI ID info and used that to search for a driver?

I have not but since you asked, here is what I believe to be the PCI ID of the device:

PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_7002&SUBSYS_00201102&REV_05\5&21C74CFA&0&0100E0

Not sure what to make of this information let alone find a suitable driver for it.

If you google "VEN_1102&DEV_7002&SUBSYS_00201102" -- It comes back as a SB Live devices. Have you tried a driver for that hardware ?

I have tried downloading and installing the driver however, it was released in 2005 and seems to only work on windows XP.

After having installed said driver, there appears to be no change and I remain unable to use the soundcard.
