For some reason a few days ago the standard USB ports on my Desktop PC stopped working. The USB 3.0 ports all work.
In the device manager under "other devices" it now shows that 7 of my "universal serial bus controllers" are all missing thier drivers. When I choose the "fix" of letting windows search for the driver windows cant find them on the internet.
My motherboard is an ASUS M5A99X Evo R2.0.
I checked thier site and the only UDB driver downloads seem to be USB 3.0.
These ports were working fine for two years so HOW did the drivers just disappear?
How can I get these ports working again?
