[SOLVED] Driver for WiFi adapter is not updating ?

I have an HP Elitedesk 800 GB machine running Windows 11 Pro.

The Wireless adapter is an Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 - my current driver version is: 20.70.32.1 dated 24/07/.2022

According to this link there is a newer version available: 22.200.2

I've downloaded the .exe, it runs and I receive aprompt to say installation was successful. I've rebooted but the driver still shows as the old 2022 dated driver. I've also tried to manually update the driver, clicking to see the available drivers but the newer one is not one of these.

Any ideas - thanks!

Package version = 22.200.2
Driver version = 20.70.32.1 for 8265, 8260

you are looking at the package version. you already for the latest driver
