Driver install questions for ubuntu

before i go and install ubuntu to my pc i was wondering how i would go about installing the lan drivers for my motherboard, I Have a ASUS F2A85-M motherboard and the site has no drivers for ubuntu so i was just wondering how i would get the lan working

You shouldn't need an additional driver. The best way to check is to boot from a Live CD and see whether it works or not. However, that m/b is not generally regarded as a good choice for Linux and Asus do say that they don't support Linux on it.
