Driver issue- from GTX970 to GTX980ti

Hello guys, i am curious

Tomorrow i'll be getting a Zotac Amp! Extreme GTX980ti for my pc. Already inside my pc is Palit GTX 970.

My question is, should i uninstall all the GTX970 drivers first, like, make it clean slate and afterwards only I install drivers for 980ti?

Or should i just let it be? Because some people said that drivers for gtx970 and gtx980ti are actually the same.

Please share your thoughts. Thank you.

Go ahead and installed the new card. Once you boot up the PC, uninstall the old drivers (preferably with DDU) and install the new 980ti drivers.

okay understood. but what is DDU?

Display Driver Uninstaller. Great program and gets rid of EVERY trace of the previous drivers. It's not always needed, but I always use it just in case.
