Hello guys today i buid my first pc, an i7 6700 on an asus h170 pro gaming and now im wsiting for my gpu to come. Everything went fine with the build until i was installing the O.S cuz i used an old notebook hdd with an windows 7 installed sistem so i installed my windows 10 and when i boot it up i was ready to install my drivers and i couldnt cuz it said it wasnt compatible with my windows 10 o_O

but the most wierd thing here is that everythint is working... audio, usbs, vga , seriusly everything its working fine, so how could it be? Can the drivers from the old O.S be replacing the asus mobo driver? I dont think thats even possible but im just blank cuz idk what happend or what should i do, maybe i should reinstall everything but everything is just working so good that idk if i should do that. Anyways thanks for the help.

Win 10 probably has a package it downloaded from Asus for your motherboard.

Have a look in settings/update & security/updates/update history and see if you have something called AMD in there, thats the Asus Motherboard Drivers

Have a look on the Asus web site for your motherboard or run AI Suite 3, and use its update feature as it will check the drivers for you.

windows 7/8/10 drivers are almost the same. with an old os that was upgraded windows 10 used the older chipset drivers that were installed already.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775/Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-INF-Update-Utility-
newest intel chipset drivers.
for the other drivers use the mb drivers on the cd or on the web page or the ethernet and sound vendor web page. reltek just dropped there 2.80 drivers.
