Driver keeps showing error 43 AMD RX 480. Driver error

Hay everyone.
I have a ASUS STRIX RX 480 but every time I try and install a driver version newer than 16.11.3 NON WHQL Windows 10 gives me a bunch of crap that the diver is not functioning normally, its error 43 if i remember correctly. Ive tried clean installs with DDU multiple times and after hours of restarts the error still persists. I would like if id be able to resolve this without reinstalling windows. Im on the latest update of windows 10 btw.

Windows has stopped the device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

exactly the same... tried contacting amd about it, but no reply yet!

Your gpu manufacturer is asus. Contact them instead.
