So recently I have upgraded my graphics to a amd R9 sapphire nitro 390 graphics card but I can't install amd 15.12 drivers. I can install the new beta versions and older versions. Is this a bug or am I glitching or is my graphics card bad?

(And I have ran the auto detect tool so I think I'm installing the right driver)

The autodetect tool should detect the right one. If there were problems with the graphics card, it just wouldn't work properly. Drivers are used to get the full potential out of hardware. I would go to AMD's website and manually select the right driver, using the selection tool.

I've found one for you (Windows 10): http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%2010%20-%2064

Windows 8.1: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%208.1%20-%2064

Windows 7: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%207%20-%2064

Hope this helps,

- Sam

Real quick I did not mean to select that as the best answer.

So what happens is that the install just skips over it and when I check the log it says driver install error.
But not when I install the beta version. The beta version installs fine.

That's strange. Have you tried completely uninstalling the driver?

Try using this as well :)

AMD Driver Cleanup Tool

Yes.

I tried with boot display driver uninstaller and AMD clean uninstall.

The installer says "AMD software and drivers have not been install" and the log says "Driver Install: the installation failed"

I am running windows 10 64 bit.
