Just starting yesterday whilst playing games I have been experiencing artifacts and crashes when running high graphics (low settings and older games are unaffected) I go to windows error log and receive an error stating: Access to drivers on Windows Update was blocked by policy or Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered. I have tried uninstalling all drivers re-installing new and old ones but nothing seems to work

now I am hoping this is a driver issue as i haven't even had my GPU for a year and have never overclocked it and would rather nor fork out for another one.

my GPU is the MSI R9 390x 8G

many thanks.

power supply make and model?

install msi afterburner and make a more aggressive fan profile, does it help?

I already have MSI Afterburner and my PSU is the Corsair RM1000i.

thanks for the reply

custom fan profile or not?

did you mess with settings?

I mostly just have it running at 100% when in games
