So I'm not sure exactly when this started ( Most likely that one Nvidia driver, could be my Windows Update, ), But I've been having BSODS every now and then when I boot a game, if it crashes while startup or mid game, Task manager as well as windows explorer goes down. I've tried DISM, CHKDSK and whatever things I could think of haven't helped. Tried a system update, and then Updated drivers but it still didn't help, so I assume its a bad installation of Windows? So I reset my System and cleaned up my drives, reinstalled drivers but nada.
Though at the same time if I leave the device on for too long even older games which run perfectly fine and don't BSOD tend to screw me over so I avoid keeping it on too long even If I'm taking a quick shower, so I changed power settings so that my Hard disk doesn't go inactive but nothing's changed so far.
I've checked temps and I'm well within safety ranges as well, playing a max 75*c, even for a laptop. Games like Forza Horizon 4 wont screw me over. If it crashes it wont cause any issues but a Game like Valheim, Yakuza: Like a Dragon , or Spiritfarer ( a 2d game ) will screw me over and give me a Blue screen, but other stuff like Painting software like Krita, Photoshop don't do anything even though I've set them to run on my Nvidia GPU, Heck even Yakuza's Remastered collection doesn't . Do I need to make a recovery image for my win10? Is there any way for me to salvage the system without needing to reset my windows again ?

MSI Laptop 120hz

GeForce 1070
win 10 home
( I'm using a laptop for portability reasons, I travel a lot but the place I live at has very unstable electricity conditions so it gives me some time to turn off my system or at least I don't need a UPS )
My system is Undervolted, but I've never run across any issues there. up until a few months ago. Sure as hell hope its not a battery issue.
I really hope it's something I can fix on the software end of things, I'm out of warranty, did a repaste 1 year and a half ago ( No issues there ) and haven't opened my system since. I just hope a component isn't failing due to age or something.

Hi, I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/Lftaxv5r/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.
File information:050621-14046-01.dmp (May 6 2021 - 08:13:48)
Bugcheck:DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9F)
Probably caused by:ntkrnlmp.exe (Process: System)
Uptime:0 Day(s), 5 Hour(s), 05 Min(s), and 59 Sec(s)
Comment: The overclocking driver "RTCore64.sys" was found on your system. (MSI Afterburner)

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

  1. Open Windows File Explore
  2. Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
  3. Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
  4. Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
  5. Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
  6. Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
  7. Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

how did you do that, a lot of programs on laptops will default to the Integrated GPU cores in the cpu, and only use the Nvidia card for graphical intensive programs, which Photoshop could almost classify as.

Do you use Ethernet or WIFI?
thing that makes me wonder is, I wonder if Killer still support this -
Jan 14 2020e2xw10x64.sysKiller PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller driver http://www.killernetworking.com/
Feb 12 2020KfeCo10X64.sysKiller Networking Suite driver
Killer used to support Broadcom parts until Intel bought them out, although you have 2020 drivers might mean it still works..
laptop just shows:
Killer Gb LAN
Killer ac Wi-Fi + Bluetooth v4.1

its possible the killer drivers will replace the old Broadcom WIFI drivers as well
Nov 01 2017btfilter.sysQualcomm Atheros BT Filter driver https://www.qualcomm.com/
Nov 05 2018Qcamain10x64.sysQualcomm Atheros Network Adapter driver http://www.killernetworking.com/

SO I found the WIFI drivers, the chipset in laptop is Killer AC1525 WiFi
Combined Ethernet & WIFI Drivers are here - WIFI driver - https://support.killernetworking.com/download/killer-software-package-windows-10-1803/

Through NVIDIA Control Panel, I changed it so that I'd run the software on my NVIDIA gpu
I use Ethernet exclusively, I'd rather not have any spikes latency anywhere around. I got the Drivers from MSI's Site, where I usually get fresh copies of the stock(? or default) drivers for this Laptop. Ill try downloading the new drivers.

Side note I think the problem might have been the afterburner curve settings I've kept for my GPU, cant believe I let this one slip past me. Im gonna try running the default settings instead, hopefully this fixes it.
