Yes the blue screen comes up and says Driver Power state failure. The Driver is the problem I think I tried updating all drivers in device manager but did not help.

No, I mean does it reference an actual file name that triggered the blue screen. If you don't notice one, you can always grab the dump files from C:\Windows\minidump, zip them up, post to a hosting site, or something like DropBox, and then link to them here.

Drivers are seldom ever updated via Windows Update (at least the ones we care about), which is what the Update Driver button does in Device Manager. What you should be doing is checking the device manufacturer's website for new drivers.

Make sure you are getting the windows updates installed. in particular you will be looking a updated Marvell Dualband 802.11n Adapter driver (mwlu97w8x64.sys)


as a work around you can go to power management and set this device to high performance, or tell the system not to put this device into sleep mode. Better to get a fixed driver

Installed the Marvell driver from November as well as running WinUpdate. Cross your fingers. I am PC and like the Surface Pro's functionality, but the bugginess is off-putting. Still won't send me to the Apple camp tho.
