Solution
Start the computer in VGA mode pressing F8 right after the BIOS post... From the list of start options select VGA Mode and press Enter. Once in windows in VGA mode*, uninstall the video driver from the Device Manager. Start button > Right click Computer > select Manage > Device Manager > Display Adapters > Right click the Graphics Card > Properties > Driver tab > select Roolback driver. Next apply the 6 options I mentioned before.

*Just in case VGA mode doesn't help, select Safe Mode.
Check the BIOS video settings.. make sure it's set to run on PCIe and not IGFX. After you do this, turn the computer off and switch the video cable to PCIe.. if you already have both cables attached, turn the computer off for a moment so the BIOS setting takes effect.

If it goes black in the Windows interface, depends on how long it remains black. If it stays black the GPU drivers may be incompatible or corrupted or the Chipset driver may be outdated, or something related to system files.

1. Check all power, data and video cables are properly fitted.
2. Check RAM modules are properly fitted
3. Dust the PCIe socket with a compressed air can.
4. Try updating all drivers (make sure the Chipset driver is included) and programs like Microsoft Net Framework, and Microsoft Visual C++
5. Try installing the GPU drivers in Safe Mode.
6. Restart the computer exactly as and when suggested by the installer.
