Hi, i've finished building my pc and everything appears to be working fine however when i tried to install windows 10 via usb i ran into a problem. It said that i required a driver for my motherboard but i've downloaded every driver i could find on msi's site and ran them. None have done the trick so now i have no clue what to do pls halp.

Solution
So as it turns out the answer was very simple... sorry for wasting your guys time, it seems the usb's i was using were all out of date and couldn't really support windows 10, after buying a brand new one and reinstalling the windows installer everything worked out fine. The effort and time invested is still very much appreciated thanks guys.

Yeah i've got a picture but i'm not too sure how to upload onto here... Could you link the software you're suppose to use?

Ok, i'll give it a shot but how would you go about that and what exactly would i be looking to disable ? (i'll also attach an image of bios for a bit of extra information, maybe the problem lies there?) https://imgur.com/a/KryTx.

I'm using the usb 2.0, honestly i am also starting to think it's something to do with the usb which i'm using to install the windows. Also could you tell if the drivers i tried to run when installing windows actually had any effect i really hope not cause i just ran em all and didn't really look at them ( got a bit wreck less after hours of trouble shooting etc).

in your bios go under the sata ports make sure there set to achi mode not raid. if there set to raid then windows is looking for raid drivers to start. if there set right from another pc use windows media creation tool to make the newest windows iso stick. your stick may be missing the newer amd mb chipset drivers. if the new stick has the same issue go to another pc download windows 10 chipset drivers for your mb unzip them and put them on the windows 10 iso stick. when that message comes up hit f6 to install custom drivers.

There was a formatting issue with the usb (which explains why i couldn't delete some files) but unfortunately fixing that and trying a different usb port wasn't enough :/

Sorry but to just confirm when you say stick you mean usb? And also can you provide a link for the chipset drivers as i searched and came across this: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775/Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-INF-Update-Utility- and also https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/1145/Intel-Chipset-Software-Installation-Utility both of which are from intel, would it work with my usb and amd rig?

Link won't let me through, it's instead rerouted to http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/incomplete, maybe just link the page and give me name or something ?

Hey man, i tried that and it didn't work, i probably did something wrong not sure (file was an application rather than a zip... got it from http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows%2010%20-%2064 was the very first option. But i think i'm just gonna try installing with a different usb that has 3.0. Will a usb 3.0 be guarenteed to have the required drivers?
cause honestly i feel like i'm running out of options. i thought the hard part was building the pc :/

Yeah, the old one was something i found lying around in the house. Didn't have any brand marking but did meet the required 8gb of storage. This one was the cause of my frustration and the one i used that finally worked was a usb that i'd only just bought today. I made sure to check that the packaging explicitly stated that it works with windows 10 (which for some reason isn't on the back of every modern usb) and reinstalled the windows software and everything worked perfectly. They should probably add something of a disclaimer to the download page but i'm sure it's not too common a problem.
