Driver (the PC game) play issues

Can anyone help me? I install Driver on my W7 PC, do the config settings fine, the game loads ok, the GT Interactive screen comes up and so does the opening car park cutscene...then instead of the menu loading up its a black screen with my ShadowPlay FPS counter, the BGM and a weird little flickering in the top left...have already tried compatibility settings and that doesn't work

I think the OP is referring to the "Driver" video game, not a device driver. The clues are in his post.

I didnt say the driver, I said Driver. I understood completely what he was referring to.
