I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Apologies if I didn't.
I was checking for driver updates in my device manager and selected to update the ones for something under "System Devices" named something like "Intel 300 Series Controller (Z370). Well now, it changed to "(R)Intel 200 Series Chipset Family LPC Controller - A2C9". I thought this seemed weird. I have't restarted my computer yet, but should I be worried that it seemed to have gone backwards??? Driver date says it's from 2016, while my hardware is from just last year.
Here are my specs:
Windows 10 (1709)
Motherboard: Asus Z370 TUF
CPU: i5-8400
Graphics: GTX 970
Help appreciated. Thank you!
