What to Do About Driver for Samsung SSD?

I just built a new computer having Windows 10 and my first use of an SSD, here a Samsung 850 EVO SSD (I actually installed two SSDs, as drives C and D).

Although the SSD appears to be working fine, the detailed information in the Properties dialog states that the driver is dated year 2006. Should this driver be updated? Is there a way to update a driver on an SSD?

I called Samsung tech support about this; the representative had no clue whatsoever and could not direct me to a Support page on their website providing downloadable drivers.

What course, if any, should I take? Recommendations welcome.

Thank you.

Look closer at that "Driver". It is from Microsoft and is installed with Windows. Samsung has nothing to do with drivers. As yoji said above, Samsung only updates the SSD "Firmware".

If need be, update Firmware with Samsung "Magician". Just be sure to back up everything important on the SSD before you do.
