driver (what's WHQL?)

Hi All

quick question about motherboard drivers. I just recently got a ASUS x99-a/usb3.1 and I intend to install windows 10 64bit.

while I'm downloading the drivers from Asus website, I noticed there are two types of drivers, one is normal, the other has a (WHQL) behind, do I need to install both?

for example:

LAN:
Intel Lan Driver V20.1.2019.0 for Win 10 (WHQL)
Intel(R) Gigabit Ethernet Driver V20.1.2019.0 for Windows 10 32bit & 64bit.

Audio:
Realtek Audio Driver V6.0.1.7525 for Windows 7/8/8.1/10 32bit & 64bit.
Audio_V6.0.1.7525 For Win10 32bit&64bit （WHQL）

are they the same thing?

they are both the same, whql only means windows "certified" and im sure they are both certified even if it dosent say it behind it.

Windows Hardware Qualified Labs, the one specifically for Win 10 is 'certified' for it and it;s considered a generic for older OSs as it was written specifically for them
