Hi i'm new to this community and having some frustrating issues running games lately on my pc. I have had three BSOD while running multiple games. When the pc crashes it doesn't always end a BSOD, sometimes needing to push the reset.Don't know what's causing this. I have recently installed new ram and thinking it was a compatibility issue but it never started until about a couple weeks after.Your help and time is greatly appreciated.

System
Amd Fx 9370
Asus Crosshair Formula-z

I have done this and I believe it solved the BSOD but I am still getting a crash having to reset the computer every time I play a game. It seems to happen randomly and not always in high load areas. I had Uninstalled the drivers through the device manager and then Uninstalled the Crimson software.

The motherboard CMOS or the GPU CMOS? Having the issue myself any help appreciated :)

the reset of the bios will cause the bios to rescan the hardware and re assign hardware resources it will also rebuild the database of settings it sends to windows. This can fix various conflicts that may have gone undetected. Mostly DMA channel settings that the various audio systems use. motherboard sound devices, using the same DMA channel as the GPU sound device. Both drivers responding on the same channel can corrupt the graphics drivers buffer and cause the GPU driver to crash. GPU drivers tend to have a very small amount of error checking since they really need to run fast.

BIOS SETTINGS RESET WORKED!! resetting bios settings fixed for me after trying to do almost all windows 10 advanced recovery options (short of reinstalling windows) I felt hopeless. This worked without even having to reinstall GPU drivers

Thanks for this thread
