Hi,

i'm running the Windows 8 that the laptop(INSPIRON 15r 5521) came with, it's a brand new laptop (only around a month old ) and i'm running mcafee Security Suite as my antivirus. Over the past few dayss I've gotten the same blue screen error. It says 'Driver_IRQL_not_less_or_equal (Smb Driver Intel.sys). I've just been sharing the file through homegroup while i'm doing this. i also attach the dump file for the same.
DUMP LINK

i also tried BLUE SCREEN VIEW for the same and this told me some "Platform Specific Hardware Error Driver" i attached the snapshot of the same.
BLUESCREEN VIEW.png
is this is any hardware error , plz help for the same.

thanks in advance

edit: you also have
NETwew00.sys a intel wireless card. if you are using a wireless connection
update this first. (intel just released new drivers because of a firmware bug in lots of their cards)
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx?lang=eng try the autodetection or enter in your make of wireless card

start by update to Smb_driver_Intel.sys Thu Dec 20 22:01:11 2012

retest for failure:
if still fails uninstall the Mcafee software and retest, if still fails
then update your network driver. Rt630x64.sys Tue Jun 12 06:37:53 2012

Solution
I only looked at the first stack dump, it had the above driver and some TPC/ip v6 in the stack, which is why i pointed to the updates to the 2 netcards and the smb_driver_intel.sys

the screen shot you provide indicated various custom hardware drivers as the cause of the failure. It could actually be a hardware failure or just one driver corrupting the memory of other drivers. normally you would grab all the updates from the vendor (bios and driver updates) and see if you still have the problem and go from there.
The vendor will also know if this is a common failure for their device and do a RMA or tell you the fix.

I would not expect a 1 month old system to have these failures unless and would grab the vendor updates, if they fail to resolve the issue, I would return the product as defective.
