Drivers don't work!

Hi, I just recently built a PC and here are the specs

asus p8z68-v pro mobo
intel i5 2500k 3.3ghz processor
sapphire amd radeon hd 6870 gpu
8gb corsair vengeance ram

When I try to run games, it says I have bad drivers like in Minecraft, and in MW2, I used the driver download on the AMD site where it auto detects your GPU and dls your drivers accordingly, I also updated the .NET framework. What did I do wrong?
Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Didn't your GPU come with a disk with drivers?

I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them and it's fine now thanks though.
