Has anybody used "DriverPack Solution?" It is a free download, but I have a DriverPack Solution DVD. If anybody has used this, I would appreciate feedback on this product. I am going to do a clean install of Win8.1 on an older Dell and, I think, the drivers will be the biggest hurdle. Any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Drivers should only be downloaded direct from the manufacturer.

All these DriverPack things can only, at best, give you the same drivers as from the manufacturer.
At worst, it will hose up your PC, demand money, or both.

Make your own "driver pack"" with a $5 USB stick and 30 minutes of time finding and downloading them.

It will install bloatware on your system and leave a process set to run at start(for "update checks"). Those things often times come with malware as well.
