Drivers for AX-370-Gaming k3

Hello,

I am going to build my new ryzen pc next week and need to install drivers and bios update. I looked on the gigabyte support webpage and found drivers for audio, chipset, LAN en sata, but for the bios I found 5 different drivers called F1, 2, 3, 4, 5a. Now I don’t know which driver to install, so I looked on the CPU support list and found F1 driver for ryzen 1700, but I am not sure this is the right one mainly because the driver is the oldest one of the 5 drivers. Can someone explain which driver I need to have for the bios update?

Their no reason th update the BIOS F1 is the first version and it supports your 1700.
Untill you get the board you don't know what version it will come with.
Unless your having problems with the board thst a specific BIOS update is suposed to fix never update the BIOS that is the only way that you can brick the board.

before updating bios, looks at what F5 has to offer over the basic F1, it may be updates regarding hard drive compatibilities or memory compatibilities, so never DISMISS bios upgrading as a needed path to performance on your motherboard.

I am not saying you need Bios F5, but I am saying you should look at what F2,3,4,5 upgrades fix.. and if they apply to you, then apply the version of the bios that applies to your needs.

So if I am understanding it right, I don’t need a bios update because I have a cpu that’s competitbel with the first bios of the motherboard and maybe I should take a look at what the other bios updates will bring me. And about the drivers for the chipset, sata, audio, lan and gpu (als from gigabyte) I should just download the latest version. But just one question about the internet connection, if I want a internet connection at the start of my new os, what kind of driver do I need to install?

Right don't try to update the BIOS if your not having problems with the board.
You can install the net driver with the CD that comes with the board.
