drivers for benq 6678-9va scanner

I just need a driver for Benq 6678-9va scanner for Vista (32 bit) or earlier MS os's (to be installed under a compatibility option within vista).

That's a long obsolete scanner, no longer supported by Benq. About the only chance you have is VueScan (www.hamrick.com). You can download and use in demo mode for 21 days before you have to register.

Last driver released for that model was for Windows XP.

Since XP drivers won't even install on Vista or later OS, compatibility mode installation won't allow you to get round the problem as the XP driver still won't install.

The bottom line is you need to get a new (or newer) scanner which has Vista drivers.
