Hello
My compyter motherboard crushed so i changet it to new one: ga-h81m-s2pv . Problem is that I have Windows XP 32 bit so I need drivers for mainboard also for Windows XP. But cannot find it. At the Gigabyte site there is download section, but there is no clear answer if this drivers are for XP. Of course, why not to try downloading and instaling? But this is possible only by downloader, wchich of course will download drivers but only when connestet to internet but if you wanto be online you have to install drivers for network card wchich is on motherboard. So can anyone help me and answer where (if exist) I can find drivers for ga-h81m-s2pv for XP 32 bit?
Regards

The only way to know if the drivers from Gigablyte.com for Win 7 work with XP, or from any other source (if drivers download info doesn't include XP), is to start installing them but stop after extracting them* and see if they include XP in the folder names. You can also install drivers previously creating a Restore Point before starting to install drivers and stop at the Warning message, or go ahead with the installation and if it goes wrong, revert it with System Restore from Safe Mode.

Several sources for your LAN driver here maybe versions for XP are available.

*You don't have to install drivers to know if they work with Windows XP, all you have to do is extract the folders and files to a specific folder and browse through the folders, folders are usually labeled with OS name they are made for.

Haswell came out around mid year 2013, and it's possible they made drivers for XP when XP retirement was around 10 months away. You know they used to say that you could not install Windows XP in computers made for Windows Vista?... and that turned out totally false. As far as I know, hardware drivers are not made by Microsoft but by the companies that make the hardware, and I doubt all of them would have agreements with Microsoft, except for Intel but that applies only for the Haswell Chipset... so it seems obvious that Realtek did make XP drivers for the LAN chip in your motherboard, which they probably used in other motherboards not only those with Intel chipset.. in short, the LAN driver and hopefully others should be independent from type of chipset.
