Drivers for USB 3.0

Hello,

My USB 3.0 port on my MotherBoard is not working. By port, I mean the socket the USB 3.0 cable plugs into. I saw online for another motherboard, to fix my issue, just simply uninstall the driver, and restart, and intern my motherboard will automatically install it again, and it should work. Is this true...?

This should work, but I would get the latest driver for your motherboard chipset and any USB drivers from your motherboard manufacturer and install them rather than relying on the OS to find the driver. Or else you might end up with a generic driver for a device.
