In DXDIAG 64, under display, I'm getting this. not getting it in regular DXDIAG.

The file aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx32,aticfx32,atiumd64.dll,atidxx64.dll,atiumdag,atidxx32,atiumdva,atiumd6a.cap,atitmm64.dll is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.

I recently formatted my laptop and reinstalled so i guess thats where it came from but i honestly don't remember ever checking dxdiag64 before on this machine so it could have been there before. is there a way i can sign these drivers or get them to load without signing (and moreover does it actually matter for anything?)? I tried DSEO but that didn't do anything.

no,they dont always get loaded, but if yours is indeed a video card driver it should.its a bit like an iphone app.there are a lot of good apps out there that never get licenced by apple for their phones.likewise, for whatever reason, microsoft hasnt licenced this driver. ive ran into this with both nvidia and amd.never gave it a second thought.if this concerns you,you can always let windows find the driver for you.i would only do this if the present driver causes you problems.
