Hello,

I just installed a fresh copy of windows 7.My problem is that my onboard sound chip is not working.
So, I bought a sound card. This happened when i was on windows xp. XP did not need any drivers for the sound and the sound card was just plug and play. I did not use the driver cd and now it is misplaced. The sound card is not working on windows 7 32 bit.

The model number of the card id QHM8000 and it is by "QHMPL".

I have been working on it for the whole day but could not find anything about the drivers.
Plus, windows refuses to install microsoft drivers and I think the sound card was working perfectly with the microsoft audio drivers so if possible, I can use microsoft drivers but I cant find them in a specific installer package till now......

please help me...

Solution
tarun17 a lot of 3 party hardware wont ruin right after a clean install of windows 7 if you have not insttaled the intel chipset drivers or amd mb chipset drivers. also if the onboard sound chipset is still on you may not get sound. i would pull that sound card and install ac97 audio drivers from here.
http://www.realtek.com/
reboot and see if your onbord sound comes back. if it does and you still want to use the new sound card turn off the sound chipset in the bios.
I have already tried these links but I was unable to install them.
Maybe u guys can tell me how to install them?
And which one do I download?

I am first downloading this:https://www.dropbox.com/s/m9m2fj5zg79pnag/QHM8000-PCI-4CH-Sound-Card-for.rar?dl=0

But there are 3 more options...
