[SOLVED] Drives are so slow

My drives are way too slow with reaction times and almost always floating between 300-2000ms on my 250gb drive

And my 500gb drive does have better reaction times but is still slow af

i have a 3570k overclocked to 4Ghz a set of this Ram
and this motherboard
what can i do about this since everything is so slow

How full are the HDD? The more data that is on a HDD the slower it gets. Your transfer speeds aren't that out of the ordinary for such low capacity drives either. The only real way to increase your performance would be to buy a SSD.

look at the crystaldiskmark
also drives barely slow down with mroe data lol
and those reaction times arent normal

While sequential speed might not slow down much on a fuller drive, random data is much slower on a full HDD. Also those drives are a decade old and that will also cause performance to be lower.
