[DRL] Unloading

Hey Kornel. I'm just curious; why don't you implement the behaviour from
the doom games in DRL? Doom1, Doom2, Ultimate Doom, Final Doom and Doom3
all have this implemented. It seems un-doomish and stutters gameplay.

As I said, I'm curious...what are your reasons for defending this
``feature''?

Because implementing that would be very unrogueish. Moreover I think
"unloading from ground should be enough for everybody ;-)". You don't want
to pick up ALL the amo you find, that would ruin your careful plan of ammo
management 🙂

and very annoying - your inventory would be constantly filing up

that would be fine for me.. in fact, the only guns i bother unloading
are plasma rifles: BFGs can carry more ammo in one slot than power cells
on their own, there are so many rockets available in the special levels
i've never run out, and 10mm or shotgun ammo is pretty plentiful.

This is one area where gameplay should take precedence over realism -
Shotguns should give 8 (or so) shells when unloaded. Chainguns, Plasma
Rifles, and BFGs should give less ammo when unloaded.
