Dropped 5820k box on floor I'm worried about damage

Just picked up components for a new rig I'm building over the weekend but I accidentally dropped the boxed 5820k on the floor my heart sank and I'm worried about damage or any performance drops.

It didn't come out of the box the box was sealed and it remained Intact post drop and the height was about 3 feet on a concrete floor in the box.
I read the pins have been removed so these things are quite solid but I'm still a little upset about it have i affected the performance ?

Don't worry, nothing can happen to it like that, you should see what they do to packages during transport !!!! That small fall is nothing it has to endure in warehouse and with couriers !!

It's fine. No damage should be caused to the chip while it's still in the box. Especially since the pins are on the Mobo instead of the chip.

Thanks installed tine chip flew on the boot up thank god to hear and see (finally) no damaged caused
