Hello everyone!

Unfortunately, I dropped my 4TB WD easystore portable hard drive today.

When I plugged the HD into my apple computer, it took a minute for the drive to show up.

When it did show up, the files took a lot longer than usual to populate.

When looking at the properties of the drive, the information is correct:
Kind: Volume
Created: December 27th, 2017
Modified: Today, 11:51am
Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
Capacity: 4 TB
Available: 404.98GB
Used: 3.6TB

The files are showing the correct names but when I open up some folders, many items are missing.

The drive is mainly storing 4K video files + RAW images.

The drive is still in warranty and I know that if I open the HD, my warranty will be voided.

What are your thoughts in this situation on how to recover my data?

Thank you in advance for your help!
