Question Dropping fps while a browser is up...

Hi!

When I play Apex Legends, I manage to play on full settings with cap 144hz. But when I have discord, or google chrome in the background I can notice some kind of fps drop. It also occurs while screensharing and streaming.

I'm pretty sure my PC should handle this, because I had no problems like this with my 970 GTX?

PC Specs:

1080Ti Armored OC 12GB VRAM
1TB SSD
I7-7700k

Are you monitoring:
-cpu usage - EACH CORE/THREAD?
-ram usage?
-gpu usage?
-I'm not familiar with the bitrate and bandwidth stuff for streaming, but does your current internet service plan provide enough for the settings you use?
-cpu and gpu temps?
