I know this game isn't optimised, but damn, it can't be so unoptimized.
Fps drops on planes or in crowded places, also randomly drops while turning camera.

MB: Gigabyte GA-M750SLI-DS4
CPU: AMD Phenom Quad-Сore 9550 2.20 Ghz
RAM: Kingston 2x1 Gb
Video card: PowerColor ATI Radeon HD 6790 (1 Gb)
HDD: Western Digital WD2001FASS
Power Supply: Thermaltake TR2 RX 550W
OS: Windows 7 x86 SP1

I'm using 12.6 CCC, because my system freezes with 13.1.

its your lack of ram. planetside 2 uses a lot of ram. when your ram fills and information needs to be removed from it and replaced, your fps are dropping right off. you want at least 4gb for planetside 2 and a 64bit operating system.

edit: also, you should overclock that cpu. its a good cpu. getting a phenom2 as mentioned by a user above wont yield much improvement (assuming you overclock that cpu.)

if you can find some good 1066 ddr, 4gb (2x2gb) and overclock that cpu... your problem should go away.

Any other driver(except the one that was on CD with video card) causes system to freeze.
Vsync is set to off.

I guess you're right.

Still I can run new games like Serious Sam 3 on ultra settings without lags, and I think that game needs a lot of ram too(tons of monsters). So that's Planetside's problem.

No doubt you need some more RAMs, but your old original 65nm 9550 is really holding you back.

You can move the 965BE forward into a new AM3+ motherboard -- you can't do that with DDR2.

At what resolution are you playing ?

This was my exact problem 3 years ago when playing Crysis - I only had 2GB at the time.
