Drram is running about 2133

I bought 3200mhz ram but even when I enable xmp it still only runs about 2733 can somebody tell why and how to fix or should I leave xmp off and leave it at 2133 I have a Asus prime 370 mobo and i7 8500k

Seems like the XMP profile is only overclocking it to 2733. While XMP is handy, it is not always perfect. You may just have to manually go in and run it at 3200mhz. I am not too familiar with your bios, but you should be able to find the memory frequency settings. It should read 2133, manually type in 3200mhz and press enter. This should set the speed to 3200mhz. Save your changes and boot. If it boots, great, your good to go.

It may not boot with the changed speeds as you may need to adjust voltages or timings. RAM can be kinda finicky here. I suggest searching your RAM and motherboard overclock on google and see what timings and voltages has worked for others. This may save you some time of trial and error to get it to boot.

this is with the eztune on after I enable xmp it drops it down to that if I use just xmp it puts it out 3200mhz but then my processer stays default

and this is with it in just xmp mode so I should I just do xmp and not worry about the cpu or do I enable eztune and then set the dram to 3200mhz???

that cpu-z is when bios says 2733?
if so, xmp doesnt seems to be running
maybe it fails to load so u gettin jedec

skynetrising when you said the last one was the best did you mean where the cpu was running 3811mhz and the dramm was at 2747mhz or were the dramm was at 3200mhz and the cpu was at 3700mhz??

This one obviously is the best one - where ram is running at 3200mhz mode (not 2133mhz and not 2747mhz).

And stop messing with CPU overclock. It will automatically turbo-boost from 3.7Ghz up to 4.7Ghz, if you just leave it alone.

I have not touched any CPU settings the only thing I have touched Jan the bios is xmp and or the entune and that's one button I was playing with the oc on the gpu but not the voltage

i didn't tell it to back them up onedrive just did and the started saying it wouldn't sync and if theres no data in those what about my mouse and key bored profiles and all lighting there my mb and my gpu ?
