As a true Dane that's not a problem

You really need to shout Carlsberg loud and clear not matter how plastered
your are when needed otherwise you'll get rather thirsty (and sober) by time

For Christmas my local bootlegger, The Beverage Barn, gave me a 4
pack of Samuel Adames Tripple Bock vintage 1995... This stuff is pure
nectar... It's BLACK as night and 18% ABV.... Go to
http://tinyurl.com/4yfto and select Extreme beers... They actually
have one at 25% ABV...

OMG. Those aren't beers, CF, they're alcoholic tar :) 'Sipping
alcohol', as my grandad called them.

Quick true story: friend went to North Wales, and told an old local he
met in a bar that he came from London. Conversation got onto favourite
beers, and when my friend mentioned Fullers, and ESB in particular, old
guy said he'd tried some when he'd visited London a few years ago.
Apparently he'd drunk 3 pints, and then couldn't feel his legs any more
and had to be carried from the bar by his wife....

.... and, he said, "What's the point of having a beer that you can't
drink 12 pints of and walk home afterwards??"

Horses for courses... :)

The finest first 30 minutes of any film EVER ! And then Leonardo DeCaprio
turns up a spoils it all.
What possessed Scorsese to employ this half wit is a mystery.Cameron Diaz
doesn't help much either.
Daniel Day Lewis and Jim Broadbent were magnificent though.

I expect you've seen it, but in case you haven't, Goodfellas is the best film
ever :)

You've not seen City of God, then?

Even if we limit it to Martin Scorsese movies, surely the first 30
minutes of Goodfellas, Casino, Raging Bull, Mean Streets, the Color of
Money and Taxi Driver were all better?

It's better than Cape Fear and Kundun, I'll give you that...

😉

:)

The first 30 minutes of Goodfellas takes some beating IMO. Many great moments,
not
least the "I'm funny how?" scene :)

Mind you, the first 30 minutes of Raiders of the Lost Ark runs it close.
