[SOLVED] Dryer outlet to PDU

I'm planning to use the dryer outlet for mining in USA. Probably use about ~4000W constantly.

This is the adapter i'm looking at to connect the PDU.

I can't quite trust this adapter since it's made in china. But it does say it's UL approved.
Is this something that other people use when they use the dryer outlet?

That adapter is for dryer outlet to AC arc welder. American electrical is typically 220/240 or 110/120. Most computer (P)ower (S)upply (U)nits (PSU) are 120 (assuming you have a typo and "PDU" was meant to be "PSU"). I'm not sure what you are thinking here.
No, he meant PDU (power distribution unit). The first link in the original post was a Tripp Lite PDU that has an L6-30 (30A, 240VAC twist lock plug) and provides C13 and C19 IEC standard receptacles. That would be a typical "power strip" for a data center rack.

@JDMStanced you should be able to use this combo. You just need to be careful since you will have 240VAC on the PDU. Get something to label it as 240VAC to remind you to double check EVERYTHING you...
