Hey, so I had to drill a hole onto my drywall wall today and unfortunately some of the white and orange dust fell onto the power cord I use for my setup.
I dusted it thoroughly, but I'm a bit worried that it might've damaged it since I'm not sure if this dust is corrosive or conductive.
What do you think?

Drywall dust is neither corrosive nor conductive. Why not wipe the cord off?
I already did. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't corrosive to make sure the cord didn't get damaged.
I thought drywall could have something similar to lime that could eat through metal.
Seems I was wrong, thankfully. Thanks for clarifying.
