I unlock the framerate and I leave the limiter at 60 fps...but whenever I start it with the editor applied in that folder italways says "framerate insufficient for online play. Returning to main menu" WTF? Like if i leave it alone it runs 15fps locked WTF??? How the fvck am I supposed to play this thing??? I mean its not like i pirated it lol

Did you disable anti-aliasing in the games menu? Did you change any other settings other than the frame rate? What are your system specs? The game should be locked at 30fps without the mods if your system is powerful enough to run the game. Dark souls runs the best on newer intel systems, so if you are using an AMD cpu, you may experience frame rate drops down to 15fps.

FRAPS says 15 locked...idont get it either...i5 3470 btw

lol integrated 2500 i think but see i can run crysis on medium 1024 res and get steady framerate like 25 ish, so i figure i mean this is a console port and i think integrated has past the 8th console generation somewhat....wish i had the money/PSU/case for a decent card...

I bet that's your problem, It's a console port but the developers had no experience porting games so it doesn't run well even on some high end systems. Some integrated graphics might be a little better than consoles but since PC's aren't as efficient as consoles, with all of the background programs running, the consoles will still run better than integrated graphics in most cases, so save your money and buy a graphics card. You can get a really nice one for cheap that will blow away console graphics.

lol no i can run freaking CRYSIS on medium at a decent clip and resolution...I can do anything on this crappy integrated better than PS3/360... yes i know consoles are more efficient than PC's, but in application it's still better is what I'm saying...It should not have an issue.

Also I have like a 240W PSU in a Dell Prebuilt lol i can't find any GPU to work in that thing

I was running Dark souls on a Radeon 7850 graphics card and I would get frame rates stuck at around 15fps on many occasions. Crysis is an older game and it was made for PC, while Dark souls was made for consoles then ported to PC in a short time period by inexperienced developers only because 100,000 people signed a petition saying they wanted it on PC. If the game wasn't programed to make good use of the resources you have, it will not run well no matter how much processing power you have.

Okay but I only get that message when I unlock the framerate...If i don't enable the mod, I get that locked 15 fps...Idk it's supposed to go up to 30....but sure i'll try a better GPU, think imma have to cut out a hole in the case

right, but it's not a great card...it'll last like 3 months, I'd rather cut out a hole and put in a decent one to last me a couple of years

I have the same problem, good computer, decent for gaming. Use DSfix and it doesn't do anything, my friend plays with an old computer with terrible specs and doesn't have any problems, this irks me so much....

What kind of processor do you have? If it's AMD that might be your problem. I have two powerful gaming machines, I ran the game on both of them and it didn't always run smooth. They are both AMD machines and I heard it works better with intel.

I have the AMD A8 4500M APU 1.9gHz quad core, I have plenty of processing power and an HD graphics card, I even optimized performance in Catalyst, still get kicked, and when I unlock the framerste I get kicked just by standing there.
