Dsl and wrt54g stopped working

Hello,
wrt54G router stopped working with my motorola dslATT). Internet works with direct plugged into computer. I see answers on Q&A to set up IP address, but how do you do that? I don't know how to get to the router on my computer. Please help. Thanks

Have you tried restarting the router and modem together so that they handshake.

Otherwise, if using wireless, wireless is the most likely suspect.

started working fine when I cancelled dsl service and went to cable.
