dual 1080s or new titan

Hey everyone, I am going to be upgrading very soon. Just my graphic cards. But I am wondering if it would be better to get two 1080s or a titan. I know that you lose power when you sli and its not double. But I'm not sure how much you lose or if it would be better for just a single titan or the two 1080s. Thanks for any info you can give me on this subject

I always advocate for the best single card you can afford over a SLI setup.

Best to wait for the 1080ti , will be much cheaper than a Titan and run almost as good as per the previous generation Titan and 980ti showed.
One strong single card is always better than 2 cards, less issues.
Wait for the 1080ti before you spend your hard earned money.
