Dual 24" or 27" monitor??

Hey all,

I need some advice. Would you prefer two high res 24" monitors or a single high res 27".

I'll be using it mostly to be gaming, web surfing and movies. As far as graphics cards, I'll be using two GTX 570's.

it all depends on what your personal preferences are and where your priorities lie.

if you watch 1080p movies then a 1920x1080 resolution monitor will display them better than a higher definition monitor would. you could play them on 1920x1200 monitors as well but you will get black bars top and bottom. on a 2560x1600 monitor even bluerays might not look up to par (but ive never actually seen it myself).

two monitors are better for some strategy games as well as when using an online guide when playing a game. or multitasking.

one monitor is best for fps games as the aiming cursor falls on the bezel with two screens (if you want multi then go with 3). one monitor is also better for mmo type games (in my opinion).
