Dual 8 pin or 2 single 8 pins for OC'ing

I don't know much about power supplies but I was wondering what would be better for getting the most stable overclock.

Would I benefit from using two single 8 pins over using the dual 8 pin cable. I have a XFX XTR 650w.

That PSU uses a single 12v rail so it doesn't matter which cable setup you go with.
