dual 970s or 980 ti?

I am making a high level build to livestream, 1080p game, and video edit on max settings and am going back and forth between dual gtx 970s or a 980 ti. Plz halp thanks!

A single GTX 970 will max out every game at 1080p resolution . Any more than that is pointless at this time for that resolution

Outlander is right. But if you had to get one of them I'd go for 980 Ti. Single-GPU is always better than dual-GPU and it's benchmarks are similar enough to 970 SLI.

Yes, I'd get the 980ti. Lots of future proofing there. The extra RAM, 6GB will come in handy eventually compared to the 970's 3.5GB. As you go forward you probably will want to go up in monitor resolution/size and the 970's could be an issue years from now.
